PAULA ULARGUI x NATURE
is a sustainability research project inspired by a deep design collaboration with nature. Taking into account the problematic Anthropocene era in which we live, the proposal of the pieces created is to raise awareness of our need to reconnect with nature. A nature from which we are so disconnected that we can't even feel the price of its absence. We live at a distance from our essence, denying its rhythms and processes within us: garments in which the human body is the support for nature to grow, live and create its life cycle, feeling and putting ourselves at its service.
In the course of this research I have studied and experimented with all kinds of seeds, plants, biomaterials and living organisms that could help me create the necessary support for the different species to live on the body. A project whose main result is to raise awareness of today's needs in order to create a more conscious, balanced and sustainable fashion industry.
